• Question: Why do people still use black and white picture?

      Because they can look good still. Take away the colour and there really is a focus to the picture that the colour may take away. Some times it just looks better.

      Haha! A good question for Tom.

      Sometimes it is style. Sometimes it is because it makes the picture look “old”. Sometimes the colour can be a distraction. Also, especially in science, sometimes we are only using one “colour” and there are no different colours to show.

      Haha, I definitely look better in the black and white version of my profile picture!

      So the answer is for style (vanity!) or artistic purposes!
