Alcohol reduces our usual social norms and we loose our inhibitions. This happens at low amounts of alcohol as it acts as a stimulant. At higher levels it acts as a depressant so can have other effects which mike look like crazyness.

The alcohol also can stimulate parts of the brain, causing abnormal behaviour.

Common symptoms of alcohol intoxication include: slurred speech, euphoria (happy!), impaired balance, loss of muscle coordination (ataxia), flushed face, reddened eyes, reduced inhibition, and erratic behavior.

In severe cases, it can cause coma or death.
