      Lots of reasons.

As we get older we become less efficient as absorbing nutrients from our food.

Your T cells age which effectively weakens your immune system.

The amount of minerals in your body reduces.

You become prone to diseases such as osteoporosis and arthiritis.

In general your body gets a bit worn out and tired and you just can’t be as active as you used to be which doesn’t help maintain your health and strength.

Our metabolism slows and our bones become less strong and we use the muscles attached to them less. You have to use it or loose it!
