• Question: Why do our eyelashes and eyebrows never continue to gow unlike hair on our head?

      Oh, but they do grow continuously, they just fall out quicker and are replaced by new eyelashes and eyebrows.

      Eyebrows grow really quickly. I will have to trim mine i the near future before i can plait them or tie them in bows!

      Yes, they certainly grow, but also fall out. After wiping another autumnal eyelash out of my eye, I can certainly vouch for that!

      They certainly do — I’m worried that my eyebrows will grow out of control when I am older!

      Remember, our ancestors used to have hair all over their bodies…

      It takes 8 weeks for a full length eyelash to grow. Eyelashes and eyebrows don’t grow past a certain length because of their short life cycle. The cycle has a growing phase, a resting phase and then a shedding phase.
