      In the UK its Lung cancer

      Yes Tim is correct, and you can see the stats in the link he gave you. Lung cancer accounted for 22% of all cancer deaths in the UK in 2008 – and that might not sound like a lot but given that there are over 200 different types of cancer then that is a very high proportion.

      The other most common cancer deaths were colorectal cancer, breast cancer and prostate cancer.

      In the UK 1 in 4 deaths are caused by cancer.
