      It’s a mixture of biology and organic chemistry. Organic chemistry is the study of molecules made of Carbon, Hydrogen and Oxygen. These tend to be biologically active molecules e.g. the food we eat is made of organic molecules, the drugs we take.

      It’s about making new drugs and fighting diseases. Basically making molecules in the lab that have a bioloigcal purpose.
