      Body turns into a skeleton.
If you have a soul, perhaps that turns into a ghost, but I would be surprised.

      Skeleton.

But you don’t “turn into” a skeleton. Instead, you already have a skeleton. What happens is that all the squishy bits (muscles, organs, and so on) decompose and rot away, leaving just the hard bones behind.

You already have a skeleton, so all of the soft tissues in your body decompose when you die and only the skeleton remains…unless you are cremated!
