Question: what gadget did you enjoy developing the most?

A lot of my research is quite theoretical (for example, using mathematics to show when computer code is as efficient as it can be), but I also enjoy working with electronics and little microcontroller boards, such as the Arduino platform. They are great fun and hands-on, much more enjoyable to play around with than a simulation or software!

You can do some pretty incredible things with them and they are cheap to buy!
