Hi sciencebox — can you re-phrase your question?

      (Human beings are very complicated!)

I like most humans, but there is the occassional person I find is annoying.
But that’s probably not what you wanted to know, so yes, please do re-phrase your question.

I think the human body is pretty amazing and yes it is very complicated! It’s amazing how all we are made of is a heap of atoms and molecules, and really the reason that we are alive just comes down to a couple of biochemical reactions like the way that nerve impulses are transmitted, respiration and the metabolism of our food.

I love looking at electron microscopy pictures of what cells really look like in your body:

      Cancer cell:

      Muscle:

      Inner ear cell:

      Neurons:

      Heat acting on skin cells:

      Humans are definitely complicated.

They have complicated chemicals, complicated cells, complicated lifestyles and complicated relationships.

I think this is partly because humans are big. Maybe we don’t seem big to each other, but if you imaging the squillions of particles in the human body, it’s no wonder we’re complicated!

Very complicated, probably because it has taken a long time to get us to where we are now. Time allows for lots of variation and the increase in complexity. Give us longer and it might become evrn more complicated!
