They were good enough to allow me to do three science A levels, then good enough to go on to University to do science then good enough to do a PhD and have a career in science. They were never spectacular, just good enough. Some people also develop later or their interests change or their personal circumstances influence their grades. Its never over, there is always a way if you really want to. Usually interest in a subject goes along with the grades. Good luck with yours

Yes they were always my best subjects, except for physics which was evil. I think I just have a nack for understanding science, but with hard work I was able to get decent grades in other subjects (except for physics) and understand them too. You get out of a course exactly what you put into it.

Usually they were pretty good, but it depended on the area of science. My physics was always good, but I was also very good at chemistry. Geology was okay. But my biology was pretty poor.

No science was my worst subject. I was better in english and art and music! But chemistry is what I wanted to study at uni, so I didn’t let it get in my way!

Yeah, pretty good — I did A-level in Physics, Chemistry and Maths and then went on to do a degree and a PhD in Computer Science. I think I was lucky because I always knew I wanted to do something sciencey, but some of my friends found it very hard to pick their A-levels.

I think that science will always be helpful in whatever you want to do.
