  No I don’t think so. I think the earth will still be here long after the human race has been and gone. It’s funny how people are always coming up with dates that the world is going to end. Nothing ever happens!

  Possibly, maybe, but probably not. We are in between life changing meteor strikes (one in every 100 million years – the last one some 65 million years ago) so we should be fine for a while. Unless of course there is big rock out there that we have missed

  Of course, there is always a chance of something happening, such as a meteorite strike. But the chances are *very* small indeed.
