I’ve been to lots of places too…

Finland, Norway, Germany, USA, Italy, Chile, France, Austria, Aaland, Argentina, Australia, Spain, Svalbard, Sweden, Netherlands, …

And, of course the UK: England, Wales, Scotland, Channel Isles. (But not Northern Ireland… yet!)

All of these were actually for work, as part of my job. In addition to those, I’ve also been to New Zealand… the only place that I went to that wasn’t for work!

      Hello logic,

I didn’t say that in my profile. The only places I have been to with work is Nottingham, Newcastle, Leeds, Dundee, Glasgow, Cambridge and San Francisco! In two weeks I am going to Sorrento in Italy for work, and really excited about it!

      🙂

For labwork: all over the USA, the UK, and Israel. Conferences all over Europe (plus one in Japan I didn’t get to go to this year because of the tsunami), co-workers from USA, Canada, pretty much every country in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Indian, Pakistan, and many countries in South America. I’ve never worked with anyone from Africa though.

For travel: USA, Canada, Israel, Egypt, Syria, lotsa countries around Europe, India, Nepal, Brazil, Argentina, maybe that’s it? I’m sure I’ve been to more places?

I woked in Canada for a while and I collaborate with other scientists in places like New York, Birmingham Alabama in the States, groups in Portugal, Germany, Denmark, Slovenia and Italy in Europe. I have also just begun to work with a group in Japan.

Science is a global industry, so there are lots of chances to travel to visit, work or even to emigrate
