Question: If you do win and obtain the money, how would your research help the world/country?

Hopefully, the money will help me to do more science outreach and from that inspire people to take a scientific look at the world. In this way, more people will be able to understand the benefit of science to society and also hold informed debates on the next new thing, be it climate change, genetically modified crops or what ever. If people are comfortable with science, then there may be less aprehension when new scientific discoveries come along that affect us all.
