      Good question.

      From the best estimates, there is probably over 200 billion galaxies. That’s 2 x 10^11 or 200,000,000,000. That about the same number as the number of stars in our own galaxy (the Milky Way).

      We do not know the exact number. No doubt there are some that are too faint to see and maybe there are types of invisible galaxies that we don’t even know are possible to exist.
