Well it can be tough because sometimes it feels like an impossible task. And you know that it means so much to so many families. It can feel like a lot of pressure sometimes. But then I realise that it is me that is putting pressure on myself, because I want my research to work so badly. I don’t ever really think of myself, of taking time off, I just keep going and keep focussed on the bigger picture.

I think there is hope for curing cancer. I believe the answer is definately out there somewhere. But at the moment, all I think about is getting people diagnosed early and making treatments better and more effective.

I think one of the key things is to get people to be healthier. To stop smoking, to drink less alcohol, to protect themselves against the sun and to eat healthy foods. I think that would reduce the numbers of people getting cancer a lot.
