It can depend a lot on the person and how fast they process food.

Little brothers have a bottomless pit inside their bellies and that’s why they always stay skinny. I’m 25 and my brother is 17 and I have to watch what I eat and do exercise to stay slim but he just sits around playing computer games and still remains lanky!

      😀

It all depends on how fast your metabolism is, and the type of exercise you do. Sometimes exercise can make you really hungry and you end up over-eating and taking in more calories than you just burned! And some people are just lucky and naturally slim!

It depends where you store excess calories and how quiclly you burn them off which is you metabolism. Also the amount of brown fat on your back will determine how quickly you metabolise food.

      Agreed.
You thyroid, which is a gland that sits in your neck, helps control how fast your metabolism is.

Some people are naturally skinny — they are said to have a fast metabolism, but it may also depend on how young and active your brother is: the more exercise/active he is, the more calories he is burning.

I was tall and skinny when I was younger, but I certainly can’t eat loads and do nothing and expect to stay thin now!
