      Definitely!

I love what I do, especially the combination of research and lecturing/teaching university students. I’m very proud to be a scientist!

Most of the time. It can be lots of fun, other times when things don’t work out or the grants get rejected its not so good. But the freedom I get to control my own destiny is probably the best and the worst bit about a career in science. its a little like being self employed, you need the drive to achieve and your rewards the good that you hopefully do for society

Yeah I like working in science. There’s not a lot of jobs where you have complete freedom to try new ideas and come up with new theories. You are completely in control of yourself and the experiments that you do. And it is interesting and fun. I can’t think of anything else I would rather do.
