      I like gardening without gloves on so I can feel the dirt and all that natural goodness between my fingers.

      ‘Getting your hands dirty’ is also slang in labs for doing experiments. And yes, I rather like doing experiments.

      Yes i’m happy to get my hands dirty, gardening or fixing my motorbike! Oil is tricky to get off your skin though!

      No, I always wear gloves in the lab, in the garden and when messing about with my bike. It just makes it easier to clean up

      As a figure of speech (meaning to pitch in and do some physical work), then yes, I do like that.

      But in terms of get my hands ACTUALLY dirty, then no. I wear gloves for gardening, working outdoors, or handling any messy or dusty equipment.
