Yes. I use it a lot. In fact, just 10 minutes ago I was using the cosine rule. This is a mathematical equation which lets you work out the angles of a triangle, if you only know the lengths of the sides. It is very useful when you need to know the angles of a large triangle very accurately. I am using this equation to work out angles on the telescope building site. We need to know them quite precisely to be able to get the building work done.
But I use maths a lot. It is a very important part of what I do. Some of it is quite simple, but others are very complicated. Often I have to translate maths equations into computer instructions. That is a lot of fun, but you have to be very careful, as it is easy to make mistakes.
