• Question: Do all cancers have cures?

      at the moment there aren’t any proper cures for cancer. We can treat it with drugs and lots of other therapies like chemotherapy and radiotherapy. But there is a problem in that it can grow back, and also the therapies don’t target the cancer very well so it can make the patients really sick and weak, and unable to fight it anymore.

      But there’s so much brilliant research going on, and the treatments are getting better all the time. There is now a vaccine against cervical cancers for teenage girls which I think it amazing. There wasn’t a vaccine like that when I was a teenager. And if they can make vaccines against one type of cancer then they could make vaccines against other types of cancers!

      I try to have hope and faith in the future.
