• Question: can you go to the core of the earth?

      No.

      There are several problems.

      1) The heat is intense. It is about 5500 degrees celsius.

      2) The mantle (the layer between the core and the crust) is liquid. That would be going through lava!

      3) The pressure at the core is HUGE. It is over 3 million times the pressure of the earth’s atmosphere.

      There is no way that anything that we are currently capable of building can survive these conditions.

      I think this is a no! The huge temperatures and pressure would make it impossible for a human to go to the core.
