• Question: By Prediction what do you think the UK will be like in 2015?

      Predict the future! This is always hard and has made a lot of people look silly in the past…

      I don’t think the UK will be that different in 2015 — it is only four years away — but hopefully from a technology perspective we will have more advanced microprocessors, digital devices (hopefully being more power-efficient) and universal access to high-speed broadband and services.

      Maybe the “wired home”, in which all of the devices in our house are online and communicate to make our life easier, and the Internet of Things will be a bit closer…

      What do you think it will be like?

      I don’t think there will be a lot of differences but hopefully by then a lot more of out troops in Afganistan will have been sent home safely, and I hope the other situations on Libya and other countries have been resolved. I hope that the economy will be better in 2015 after all the cuts we are enduring!

      I guess by 2015 you lot will all be thinking about going off to uni, so hopefully we will have lots of bright new scientists!!! 😀 😀 😀
