      Yes… well, at least they were real.

      We know that dinosaurs were real creatures that existing, because we can find their fossilised bones. By looking at the different types, we can work out that not only did dinosaurs exist, but that there were LOTS of different types of them too.

      Some museums even have these bones on display.

      Some types of creatures are also regarded to have not changed much in terms of evolution. Examples include the Coelecanth and Crocodile. There is very little difference between the modern creature and the fossil remains of similar animals from many millions and millions of years ago.

      As Derek said, they were real. The bones are now converted to stones but their imprints are around. You coul argue that dinos are still around as their DNA will be linked to some modern day animals and we would have had a common ancestor some time ago.

      Remember dinos have straight legs, its a defining characteristic

      Yes I think they were real since we have fossils as evidence for their existence.

      Certainly — there is a huge amount of fossil evidence to place the dinosaurs in our biological history.
